Sooo when I first claimed quantum1342's "It Takes Two to Tango" for

deancasbigbang, I was just excited about how cute it was going to be. A sailing AU? Yesssss adorbs. And then as I was reading it and thinking about what to art, I realized a sailing AU meant I was going to have to actually draw boats. Oops. Time to look for some reference photos...

( Spoiler-ish art in here... )

OMG the story

kidezt wrote for

sastiel_bigbang is SO. EFFING. CUTE. I cannot. Go read it: "Castopus"

Seriously read the adorableness. I've seen kidezt's name as an artist in many a big bang, this is the first time as a writer, and it's awesome!

( Rest of the art this way... )

Drawn in Pixelmator with a Wacom Intuos3 tablet.

I was intrigued by

2people2's story "Dr. Ackles and Subject 7321 aka Jared" during

spnmpregbb claims because of the uncommon pairings: a fantasy creature AU with a J2 friendship and Jensen/Ty mpreg. Also, snakes. :D The fic more than exceeded my expectations and it was super fun to draw for it.

Spoiler-free art inside the cut! (also it's a little huge)
( Snaaaake, snaaaake, it's a snaaaaake )
It's official: 3/4 view from behind is the hardest perspective to draw of a pregnant person! Other than that, I really enjoyed making this. I left the lines a bit sketchy as an experiment, and I think I like the results. Always trying to refine my style.

Suuuuper happy about claiming

safiyabat's story "Hell's Bells" because Meg is secretly not dead after all!!!! :D

Art inside the cut!
( Spoilers, NSFW ish )
The main illustration was fun to draw but took forever, since I tried out some new things. I'm pretty pleased with it though.

Hahaha so it is 11:52 PM on my posting day and I just finished this art, because school BS and GISHWHES ate my brain.

Here is my art for "Luna De Miel" by

afattribble, a wonderful accidental-fake-married Wincest AU where Sam and Dean are special agents assigned to an undercover investigation of a werewolf pack in a high profile law firm. It's really good and sweet and as soon as I post this I'm gonna go read the end of it because the latest draft left me on a cliffhanger and I need to knooooow. :D

( Spoilers ish, safe for work )

I am so excited to share my art for "The Zoo" a Sam/Kevin werewolf AU by

dachinchilla/scaramouche/Annie D in the

spn_j2_bigbang! It's a gorgeous story and I was thrilled to be able to work with one of my favorite fic authors; I may have screamed a little when I found out whose story I'd claimed.

Hahahaha TWO YEARS LATER the rest of the art is finished.

This was a fun style to work with. I love art nouveau style fanart but haven't had much of a chance to try it myself before now. And it was good practice in using mostly shading and contours instead of black lines. It took me five or six tries to get Kevin's face too look like himself; I went through several versions of "well, it's definitely a black-haired boy so there's no one else it could be, but..." before finally arriving at proper Kevin.

I claimed "Silent as the Grave," an Avengers gaslamp fantasy au by

nessataleweaver for the

casestory Big Bang. Because who doesn't want Natasha and Clint being awesome in a Victorian ghost story? Spoiler-free art inside the cut.

The background image is a Creative Commons-licensed (Attribution, Non-Commercial) photograph by Niko Trinkhaus, originally found on Flickr. I haven't used a photograph as the background for a drawing before, so it was fun making the modifications I needed (darkening the ceiling windows and turning the wall lights blue). Sadly I suck at crowd scenes so the ballroom isn't as full as I'd like. But I think it gives the impression okay!

Here's my art for

lrthunder's story "Tentative Alliance" (on AO3) for the

tentaclebigbang. I thought I'd step outside of my usual fandom territory and claim a Pirates of the Caribbean story, and it gave me a chance to play around with construction paper and glue which I hadn't done for a long time. Super fun! Spoiler-free full art below the cut.

Check out the awesome minibang I did art for! It’s such a cute story. "First Comes Marriage" (AO3) by deanhugchester for the DeanBenny Big Bang on Tumblr. Additional art (mild spoilers) inside the cut.

My computer has been dead for a month so I had to do these by hand instead of on my tablet and it was super hard remembering how, but I think they came out pretty well. :)

Here's my art for Mandraco's lovely story "With Open Eyes" for the Gabriel big bang. Such a cute pairing! Drawn digitally with Sketchbook Express on Intuos tablet. It took me foreverrrr to get their faces to look decent. @_@;
